Dark Energy (DE) is a major conundrum for physics and astronomy. It dominates the energy density of the universe, yet it is hard to detect and measure. The next generation of DE experiments demand massive, precision surveys of the sky, which force us into space to gain both a control of the systematic uncertainties and access to large volumes of the cosmos. In this talk, I will briefly review some of the evidence for DE and what the future holds, including new satellite missions like ESA's Euclid project.
