The ESSENCE supernova survey is a six-year project on the CTIO 4-m telescope to discover and study 200 Type Ia supernovae to determine the properties of the dark energy currently accelerating the expansion of the Universe. We present here our five-year cosmology results which constrain a constant dark energy equation-of-state parameter to better than 10%. Our latest work features improved photometric calibration, more sophisticated treatment of systematic errors, and improved statistical constraints from a doubling of our previous sample of supernovae.
