The membership of δ Sct variables to double or multiple systems is analysed with special attention to those which are components of eclipsing binary systems. Only 9 of these cases seem to be well established and they are analysed. In the majority of the cases, they are Algol-type systems where the δ Sct variable is the primary component. Moreover, the δ Sct pulsators which are known (or suggested) to belong to multiple systems on the basis of a classical O-C analysis are also revised. The difficulties in detecting such kinds of systems are commented.
