We present results for a D/H study from the Far Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer (FUSE) of the line of sight toward the hot, He-rich, white dwarf KPD 0005+5106. This object is a wavelength calibration standard, so a wealth of data exists for it. Clear D I Lyman 7 and Lyman 9 are visible, plus a number of interstellar lines such as molecular H and atomic species such as C I, C III, N I, N III, O I, P II, S III, Ar I, Fe II, Fe III, etc. Its distance of approximately 270 pc and Galactic coordinates of l=116, b=-11 deg place it outside of the Local Bubble and probe a long distance near the Galactic plane. From International Ultraviolet Explorer (IUE) data, the neutral hydrogen column density is log N(H I) = 20.74 +- 0.09. This makes it one of the highest column density sight lines to be investigated for D/H. Its temperature of 120,000 K and low metallicity provide a good continuum source for D/H and other interstellar medium studies.
