The feedback of the oscillating mean magnetic field of the kinematic alpha omega dynamo on the mean flows in the Sun is investigated. The observational constraints on the magnetic field and on the mean cycle-dependent flows (the time variations of the differential rotation and meridional motion) accord with the dynamo excitation mechanism. The solutions of the mean-field equations of motion give the observed components of the mean flows. The detailed properties of the flows give a possibility to investigate the dynamo mechanism itself.
