NASA and the National Park Service are engaged in a variety of partnerships intended to preserve and interpret natural resources as a living laboratory. The purpose of this workshop was to initiate a conversation among participants about audiences, the meanings of place, and professional interpretation within the context of this partnership. Our first objective was to examine successful collaborations. We then explored potential partnerships that could be developed at locations throughout the US and considered our collective experience to make future partnerships successful.
