In § 4 of the Letter ``Cumulant Correlators from the APM'' by I. Szapudi and A. S. Szalay (ApJ, 481, L1 [1997]), the indices a and b had been exchanged unintentionally when the measurements of the quantities r_a and r_b, extracted from the APM survey, were presented. While this is a subtle change, we would like to correct it for the sake of avoiding any potential confusion in the future. Correctly, in Figure 1, the upper curve relates to r_b (``star'' amplitude), and the lower curve relates to r_a (``snake'' amplitude). The ninth sentence in the fifth paragraph of § 4 should read as follows: ``The filled triangles and squares show the value of q_3=1.15 and q_4=2.2 calculated from the averaged value of q_21=1.15 and from r_a=1.15 and r_b=5.3, respectively.'' The first sentence in the seventh paragraph of § 4 should read as follows: ``The deprojection using the coefficients in SDES yields Q_3=1, R_a=0.8, and R_b=3.7, giving Q_4=1.5.'' Finally, unrelated to the above errors, q_4=1.96 of Szapudi et al. (1995, hereafter SDES) has been quoted as 2.96 because of a typographical error, although plotted correctly, and a printer's error in equations (1)-(2) and in the subsequent text incorrectly replaced N^k with N^k. None of the conclusions stated in the Letter change.
