Cubanite (CuFe2S3) previously unobserved in meteorites, has been
discovered in two carbonaceous chondrites, Orgueil and Alais. The
association of this mineral with low-copper pyrrhotite suggests that it
formed in a low-temperature environment on the meteorite parent body.
