It is shown that, in the case of the centrally symmetric Reissner-Nordstrom metric with a charge less than the square root of the product of G and M, rather simple analytic dependences of the capture cross section of charged test particles on the parameters of the central body (M,Q) and the particle energy E can be obtained. It is assumed that the Coulomb and gravitational forces acting on the particle are comparable in magnitude. The dependence of the cross section on the particle energy and the relative intensity of the electrical interaction is investigated.
