Asteroids at opposition reflecting light according to the Lommel-Seeliger law are considered. It is shown that if the angle beta between the axis of rotation of the asteroid and the line of sight is 90 deg, the photometric curve is located above any sinusoid tangent to it; and if the angle beta is unknown, the photometric curve must be preliminarily shifted upward by an amount dependent on the shape of the curve.
