Recently, the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope detected GeV gamma- ray emission from a source positionally consistent with CRATES J0531-4827 (ATel #2907). As part of our blazar monitoring campaign, we observe blazars and blazar candidates reported to be in a high flux state by Fermi. CRATES J0531-4827 was observed with the SMARTS 1.3m and ANDICAM instrument on UTC 14 October 2010 (JD 2455483.8103) in photometric conditions.
