CP violation in the electroweak interactions, basic to our understanding of cosmology and particle physics, has been experimentally established for nearly three decades, but we still have no understanding of the phenomenon. A new class of experiments which measure CP-violating asymmetries in the B0 system using an asymmetric e+e- storage ring, promises to distinguish between alternative models.
