A canonical covariant Hamiltonian formalism on a group manifold is developed for the supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory coupled to supergravity. The set of primary constraints and the equations of motion for the coupled system in the covariant Hamiltonian approach are found. Also, the supercurrent is defined and analyzed in the framework of the canonical covariant formalism.
