The real space-time can be described not only by pseudo-Riemannian geometry with its quadratic metric, but also by various Finsler spaces, one of which possesses Berwald-Moor metric. For distances and intervals that are small in comparison to the cosmological ones and also for velocities small in comparison to light velocity, these two space-times are practically indistinguishable. Reasonable question arises: could Finsler geometry be more adequate to describe a row of astrophysical phenomena such as anomalies in the distribution of rotation velocities of stars in spiral galaxies and also the unusual regularities in the Hubble parameter distribution over the sky, tangent velocities of quasars and temperature distribution of relic radiation? We suggest the checking which geometry-Finsler or Riemann-does better correspond to reality on the cosmological scale with the help of the already obtained data together with data that Planck satellite is receiving right now.
