The visual binary Zeta Herculis (HR6212, HD150680) was discovered by Herschel in 1782, according to Lewis (1906). There exist radial-velocity observations of Zeta Herculis dating back to 1983. Since 1962, radial-velocity observations of Zeta Herculis were conducted with the coudespectrograph of a 1.22-m telescope. Over 90 spectrograms have been measured, initially with a projection machine, and more recently with the Arcturus oscilloscope machine. Several different orbital solutions have been obtained. Attention is given to the proposal made by Baize (1976) that the primary of Zeta Herculis is itself double, with a period of 10.5 years. It is found that the possibility of the existence of a third body in any orbit similar to that proposed by Baize can be ruled out with certainty.
