The problem of an electromagnetic field interacting with viscous fluid without and with a zero-mass scalar field has been studied. It has been shown that an electromagnetic field cannot interact with a viscous fluid for a spherically-symmetric Robertson-Walker metric. Exact solutions corresponding to the problem of electromagnetic field interactions in the presence of a viscous fluid and a zero-mass scalar field have been obtained, subject to various physical conditions. The results have application to the study of imperfect fluid Friedmann-Robertson-Walker models showing the existence of the electromagnetic field due to the presence of zero-mass scalar field.
