Cosmological Models: Redshifts

Scientific paper

Two cosmological models, exterior spherical and planar, are developed in
the Newtonian framework in addition to the previous interior spherical
model by assuming that cosmological redshift is due to gravitational
effect of matter in space on photons. Redshift-distance relations are
derived and compared with results of observations of distant galaxies.
