The Alfven cosmic plasma model of the universe is shown to be consistent
with the cosmic background radiation, which is taken to be the radiation
from neutrino-antineutrino annihilation. The mass of the neutrino is
found to be 6.2 x 10 exp -4 eV, which is consistent with other
experimental observations.
