Recent research on cosmic X-ray background radiation is introduced. It
is stretched mainly on two classes of theoretical point of view - origin
from discrete extragalactic sources or diffuse origin. The author
discusses in detail the above two basic views which are very closely
related to the X-ray radiation of active galactic nuclei.
