Electron and radio emission spectra are calculated within the framework of a simple diffusion-convection model of cosmic ray propagation with allowance for convective escape of cosmic rays and adiabatic losses. Comparison of the calculations with the observed spectra suggests that the propagation of electrons through the galactic halo is realized by diffusion. Analysis of data on the proton-nucleon component of cosmic rays in terms of a pure diffusion model indicates that the size of the halo should be of order 5-10 kpc.
