The anisotropy of ultrahigh energy cosmic rays is studied in the diffusion model of a single pulsed source. It is shown that, for short-duration pulses generated by the source, the anisotropy decreases with increasing energy. A model for an ultrahigh energy cosmic ray source generating the rays in the neighboring active nucleus of the galaxy is considered.
