Using the COS-B data base an upper limit of 2×10-7cm-2s-1keV-1 has been set to the high energy (70 - 1000 MeV) gamma-ray burst flux from a gamma-ray burst event of 1979 November 9. This limit is consistent with a power law extension from the lower energy data with a differential index of ≤-1.39. An upper limit of 5.4×10-11cm-2s-1keV-1 to the persistent emission is also obtained.
