In this paper, the authors examine the dependence of correlation coefficients of orbital elements on the length of the orbital arc covered by measurements, on measurements of different accuracies, and on the number of measurements. The obtained correlation coefficients for the orbital elements are found to decrease with the orbital arc length covered by measurements, they are independent of the measurement precision, and they do not depend on the number of measurements for long arcs and they decrease with the number of measurements for short arcs.
