Intercorrelations between the intensity fluctuations of single pulses of pulsars were investigated for various mean-profile longitudes, by analyzing cross-correlation functions of pulses originating from 12 different pulsars, observed at 1700 MHz with the 100-m radio telescope at Effelsberg. It is shown that the characteristics of cross-correlation longitudinal maps change depending on the angle of maximal approach between the line-of-sight of the observer and the magnetic axis of the neutron star.
