A number of hard X-ray sources detected with a scintillation spectrometer aboard Cosmos 428 are examined which coincide with optically observed globular clusters within the limits of measurement errors. Two regions of the sky between 5 and 325 deg galactic longitude are selected for analysis; one lies between -5 and -15 deg galactic latitude and the other extends from +10 to +35 deg. Eleven hard X-ray sources are found to contain at least one globular cluster in their error boxes. Possible mechanisms for X-ray production in globular clusters are discussed.
