Aftershock sequences which occurred in Japan from 1971 through 1993 are investigated by fitting the modified Omori formula and the Gutenberg-Richter relation to find the p- and b-values have a positive correlation. It is also shown that there are positive correlations between each of these parameters and the fractal dimension of hypocenter distribution of aftershocks.
