In an extension of research on the departures of lunar soil properties from the Umov law, the results of optical regionalization of a section of the western part of the moon's visible hemisphere with respect to the albedo and maximum degree of linear polarization are presented. The regionalization is carried out on the basis of an analysis of a two-dimensional albedo-polarization histogram, which was constructed from photographic images using a system of digital image processing. Partitioning is used to obtain three variants of the histogram, and the results are shown.
