Ism: Dust, Extinction, Galaxies: Luminosity Function

If the disk of the spiral galaxies has a moderated value of the mean
optical depth, the observed luminosity function should be corrected for
the combined effect of the inclination and the opacity of the galactic
disk. We obtain the corrected luminosity function for current models of
opaque matter distribution.
