Within the framework of a large campaign of observations of RU Lupi in X-Ray, UV, Optical, and IR, the authors present partial results from X-ray and UV observations. A flux of 3×10-11erg/s was detected in the range 2 - 6 keV. Nothing was detected at higher energies. The UV spectrum of RU Lupi shows strong similarities with those of other T Tauri-type stars, with the exception of the presence of He II (λ1640 Å) emission line at a level of ≡6×10-14erg/cm2s. A general description of the UV spectrum is given together with some theoretical considerations on this object.
