The regeneration and diffusion terms with special cyclonic convective cells are discussed in two-scale mean-field electrodynamics. According to the dynamo equation, the patterns of the induced electric force in a cyclonic convective eddy are obtained. It is shown that the non-dimensional regeneration coefficient is αarcmin ≈ -0.4 ≡ +0.4 and the non-dimensional diffusion coefficient is βarcmin ≈ 0.05. This α effect is consistent with the α coefficient of α-ω dynamo models which are in agreement with the observed solar magnetic cycle. The β coefficient derived from observations and the α-ω dynamo model is about 20 times as large as the calculated result, when the rotational velocity is 100 m/s and the characteristic dimension of the convective eddy is 1000 km.
