The conservation equations of mass, energy and momentum are applied to the problem of thermal and non thermal convective motions inside a homogeneous, compressible fluid sphere of uniform viscosity which is rotating with a constant angular velocity about thez-axis. The resulting equations are manipulated into a form which should be suitable for solution.
