The Control and Data Management System (CDMS) is an advanced electronic unit developed to allow the execution (automatic or remotely controlled from Ground) of microgravity experiments that are very demanding in terms of number of functions and performances requested to the electronics. This product is based on a development carried out by Techno System, in the framework of ESA Sounding Rocket programmes, and can be customised to fulfil specific experiment requirements. The paper provides a detailed overview of the architecture and functionalities of the system.
