Scientific paper

The authors analyse the influence of gravitational redshift on the
spectral line profiles of homogeneous, static and optically thin region
near massive AGN (Seyfert galaxies and quasars). The correction function
that determines the degree of spectral line profile distorsion produced
by gravitational field has been investigated.
