We are studying the contribution of AGB stars to the dust content of the Milky Way using chemical evolution modeling. Our model combines a gas infall model of Galactic chemical evolution and a three-phase model of the interstellar gas. We consider metallicity-dependent injection of carbon, iron, silicate, and SiC dust species to the ISM by AGB stars and supernovae. Subsequent processing of dust in the ISM, grain growth by accretion in cold molecular clouds and destruction by SN shocks is modeled. The fraction of unprocessed grains from outflows of AGB stars that survived in the ISM until the moment of solar system formation is studied. We calculate the probability of contribution of an AGB star of given mass and metallicity to presolar dust grains.
