The right ascension of 3C 273B is used as the reference position for a radio celestial coordinate system. This radio source was observed from 1984 to 1988 by the Japan-USA VLBI experiments under the Crustal Dynamics Project (CDP). The continuous change in the structure of quasar '3C 273B' is revealed by the variation of correlation amplitudes on the UV plane from these experiments. This analysis is characterized by the calibration of antenna sensitivity and atmospheric coherence loss by using the correlation amplitudes of pointlike reference source, the use of continual data, and the parameter estimation method. The key findings are as follows: (1) a subcomponent of 3C 273B had been moving at a rate of 0.88 mas/yr toward a position angle of -127 deg; (2) the expansion of the quasars center part, within 1 milliarcsec (mas), was periodically variable; (3) the size and flux density of the center part change for a period shorter than a year. The delays calculated using the estimated structure is qualitatively consistent with the observed ones.
