This article reviews continuous absorption of H- from its two sources: photo-detachment and free-free transitions. A table of recommended coefficients is established. Simple analytical formulae are given permitting separate bound-free and free-free absorption coefficients to be generated at a wide range of temperatures and wavelengths. The resulting data is believed to be the most accurate available at the present time and should be accurate to better than 1% or 2%.
