Observations at the Yale/SMARTS 1.0m telescope at CTIO show that PKS 2052-474 continues its outburst (ATEL #2158, #2160). Preliminary analysis of time series data obtained August 15 UT 0-2 and 4:30-5:30 shows mean optical magnitudes of R=15.40 and B=16.54, and evidence for variability of up to 0.05 magnitudes on timescales < 1 hour. Conditions were non-photometric, and magnitudes were calibrated against USNO magnitudes of a bright star ~38' south of the source.
