Solar Spectrographs: Radio Radiation
Scientific paper
The analog part of the receiver for a solar radio spectrograph in the frequency range 30 - 80 MHz has been designed, constructed and tested. This receiver is the most important component of a radio spectrograph for the study of solar flares and bursts, solar magnetic activities and other transient emissions. The total gain of the receiver is found to be nearly 88 dB. The salient features in the construction of the receiver are discussed.
