Analytical models of supernovae which make it possible to reduce the problem of calculating the bolometric light curves to the solution of ordinary differential equations are examined. These models consistently take into account the cooling and recombination wave (CRW). It is shown that a rather good agreement between the analytical models and observations of SN 1987A after about 40 days can be obtained only if the WCR is taken into account.
