We present the status and results from a deep 30 ks GALEX observation of the Coma cluster. The GALEX FOV has optical photometric coverage via the SDSS DR6, and we have obtained deep redshift coverage to r 21. We demonstrate the advantages of using a Bayesian deblending technique to generate source catalogs for deep GALEX images, which provides a higher detection efficiency and photometric accuracy as compared to the GALEX pipeline catalog. The improved source catalog results in higher galaxy number counts than reported in previous GALEX studies, as well as brighter estimates for the NUV and FUV source confusion limits. We also present the NUV and FUV luminosity functions (LFs) for the Coma cluster, which are the deepest UV LFs measured for a cluster thus far. Finally, we show the color dependence of Coma member galaxies, which include a relatively large number of quiescent dwarf galaxies that have intermediate UV-optical colors. We demonstrate that the colors of quiescent dwarf galaxies may be bluer than high-mass quiescent galaxies owing to a metallicity effect, as opposed to an intermediate-age stellar population.
