A high multiplicity model that takes kaon contribution and
energy-dependent cross sections into account is used to calculate the
muon spectrum above 0.4 TeV. A comparison conducted with a best-estimate
experimental spectrum indicates good agreement, assuming that primary Fe
nuclei dominate above 10 to the 15th eV/nucleon.
