Rosen's (1973) bimetric theory of gravitation is used to calculate the integrated characteristics and internal structure of spherically symmetric configurations in which the state of the matter is described by an equation of state. It is found that in the bimetric theory the maximal value of the mass (16.28 solar masses) is 10.5 times greater than the corresponding mass in Einstein's theory. The value of the central density at which the star is still stable in Rosen's theory occurs at configurations that are three orders of magnitude denser than the corresponding value in Einstein's theory.
