Scientific paper
Attention is given to periodic solutions in the planar N-body problem, to the use of the KS transformation in relation to the Lagrange equations of motion, to the numerical integration of near-parabolic orbits, and to trajectory optimization using a closed solution of constant thrust-acceleration. Also considered are the decay of a highly eccentric satellite, an optimal Runge Kutta algorithm, and redundant variables for the global regularization of the three body problem. Individual items are announced in this issue.
