A qualitative analysis of energy and angular-momentum integrals is carried out for the Mathisson-Papapetrou (MP) equations with the Pirani condition in a Schwarzschild field. This analysis is used to obtain conditions under which all the solutions of the exact MP equations corresponding to fixed initial values of coordinates and velocity differ substantially from the solutions of the truncated equations corresponding to the same initial data. In addition, the analysis suggests that manifestations of gravitational ultrarelativistic spin-orbit interaction may be connected with the motion of high-energy cosmic-ray particles in a neutron-star field.
