Previous investigations have established the feasibility of interferometer triangles operating with constraints imposed on the time delay for a visibility zone common to all the telescopes. The present study demonstrates that the achieved accuracy can be preserved for isolated observations of the bases composing the triangles. The design of observational programs is thus facilitated. Instead of the lengths of chords connecting the observatories, the present approach uses their coordinates; this makes it possible to include in the equations the displacement of the earth-rotation pole with respect to a conditional beginning.
