The Supernova/Acceleration Probe (SNAP) focal plane contains a half-billion pixel imager and the associated high data rates present challenging computing and data handling requirements. This poster presents an overview of the SNAP concept for processing raw images into science-quality images, identifying Type Ia supernovae, and requesting observations from the observatory. In addition, the poster will address the plan for cataloguing, archiving, and distributing the data to the astronomical community.
