A method for computation of local parameters in a Hall effect thruster with an application of experimental data on the plasma plume ion energy distribution was proposed. The model is based on a one-dimensional approach with minimized amount of empirical assumptions on the dynamics of electron species. It allows determining the distributions of potential, plasma density, ion generation rate and some other parameters along the acceleration channel. The ways of further model improvement were analyzed. It was performed a numerical analysis for different power modes of Hall effect thruster acceleration channel. This analysis allows to observe variations of local parameters taking place inside the channel.
