The signal dedispersion, the fft and the folding processes for pulsar search require multiple iterations in the time domain, that can be easily distributed on several CPUs. This kind of analysis does not require any interaction during a single process, that can be done indipendently by each single CPU. Therefore this huge computational load can be time optimized using High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters working in parallel and accessing to a common storage disk space. The Pulsar Group implemented at the Osservatorio Astronomico di Cagliari (OAC) the first HPC cluster Mangusta (Multiprocessor Array for New Generation pUlsar Searches and Timing Analysis) in 2003 for pulsar data analysis. At the end of 2005 a new cluster has been integrated in the old Mangusta infrastructure. We show details of Mangusta-I and Mangusta-II implementation, the actual clusters status and future plans of development.
