The results of test computations of strongly convective plane-parallel LTE models of white-dwarf atmospheres with Te = 5000 or 8000 K and log g = 8 are presented in a table and discussed. A longer iteration step is developed to stabilize the convective-zone boundary in one or two computations of the radiative-flux, which can then be omitted in a number of iterations, saving computation time without increasing the overall number of iterations required.
