Data from NASA's Compton Gamma Ray Observatory (GRO) satellite are discussed emphasizing the evidence of cosmic explosions which complicate the general understanding of quasars and gamma-ray bursters. The data are taken from the Burst and Transient Source Experiment, the Oriented Scintillation Spectrometer Experiment, the Imaging Compton Telescope, and the Energetic Gamma Ray Experiment. The data suggest that quasars are brighter in gamma rays than in other electromagnetic radiation and that the bursters are spread evenly across the sky.
